hello from the muddy banks of the Chesapeake...this week we will tackle the topic of MONGO pushing. Mongo pushig is becoming more and more prevelant among the younger kids who are picking up boards. For those of you that don't skateboard ( which raises another question ...what the hell are you doing on the berrics in the first place?? but that is niether here nor there) mongo pushing is when an someone uses their front foot to push them on the board while leaving the back foot on the board. Basically its ugly..very very ugly. Why aren't you older guys stepping up to teach them the right way to push? oh thats right! half you guys do it too. I even have seen pros do it. Now don't twist my words pushing mongo is acceptable in these(and only these) situations you may find yourself in: switch (as in pushing switch) some find this a little more comfotable than learning to push the other way or if you learned how to switch stance skateboard 10 years after you started skating in the first place; if you were a helmet...but not cause you skateboard; you are under the age of 3(because then its just cool you are on a board and even cooler that your reading this);you are some jock poser that shops a pac-sun (for those of you not familiar pac sun is a store that sells skateboard shoes, shirts,jeans...but no boards. maybe you have noticed the meathead football players at your school wearing element shirts three sizes too small and a pair of Adio shoes but have never seen them on or near a board. these are the same guys that called me a skater fag when i was in high school all those years ago. funny how they want to be, dress,speak and act like us now.. stores like pac sun are to blame); you have one leg; you are on crutches or have a brace of some sort; you are a dog(like that skating bull dog...actually he pushes correctly...a dog....a dog c'mon people; and lastley if you are a roller blader(because you suck anyway!). I encourage all of my fello normal pushers to join "the FAM". (the fight against MONGO) and I have also began producing "Friends don't let friends push mongo" stickers. i have put them all over the skateparks (and spots) i have skated for the past year. any way thats about it for this week....next week the battle of goofy vs regular..if you likey send me a comment and put a member of "the FAM" on your profile. spred the word people all we got is us in this. if you don't likey you are one of the afore mentioned culprits...send me your address and i will spray-paint the one of the FAM's many (butteryass)logos on your face.
hey i need help with my 360 flips, i can get the spin like perfect every time and i can get my front foot on the board but my back foot never lands on the board, what am i doing wrong and how can i fix it?
