About Me
Hi! My name is Matt and I've been skating for about 6 years. I like freestyle and street the best and usually go to parking lots to warm up before I go to any street spots. I spend a lot of time doing old school tricks and messing around with new ideas. Other than skating I like to read, work on computers, work on cars, and practice Le Parkour. Nothing beats just going out and skating though. Attempting to find enjoyment in everything is important to me. My life has been very strange thus far and I'm as distant from the paths that most people take as one can get while still going about existing in some way. It's hard to explain. It's like everything freezes and I'm the only one able to move about. I usually imagine most things as if they were different than they actually are for me. It helps me put things in perspective. Photography, writing, drawing, and Le Parkour are all stress relievers for me but nothing comes close to skateboarding. I don't think I'd even exist without it at this point, haha. I usually don't get kicked out. I haven't been street skating very long, only like two months but so far I've only been kicked out once.

That would be a really neat setup (the double ledges). Good luck with it. The new manny pad we found was always there. Before, there was a fountain there, though. But because it'll be winter soon they took it down and put wood over where the water would go and it's a perfect spot.

Yeah, these past couple of days have been really warm. It was 60 today and yesterday, which was awesome. I skated the park for a while today, then went to a bunch of street spots with some guys. The first one was a ledge drop-off thing with a curb in front of it so you had to go over the curb. I tried to nosegrab tailtap it and sprained my ankle. It hurt insanely bad, but I borrowed a brace and after we went to a 5-stair and a newly found manny pad, we went to this 4 stair with a wood run up and a bunch of lights and had a sweet session. There'll probably be video from that day on YouTube sometime soon.

I've been very swell. I looked at that one image of you doing an airwalk. It is brutal in all the right ways. I am envious. How've you been?

And no there was not.

Sounds like a pretty alright park. Ours has a 3-foot roll in, 3 3-foot quarterpipes, a 5-foot QP, a funbox 2 boxes, a bench 2 rails and a pyramid. It's not very well-done but whatever, it's good enough. I'll attempt to provide images.

Okay. What's in your park? You're lucky, there's probably parks galore in California. I am getting better, and boxes are amazing.

What all's in your park? Hold on a mo, I hear noises in the garage even though I'm home alone and no one should be here.

Yeah, I know how that is. I usually don't have to quit for more than the rest of the day, but I sometimes have to skip a day or two or even a week if I really hurt myself. I landed 2 tre flips today and one pop shuvit 50-50 on a box. I've been doing more street skating than freestyle lately because I can bike to a park and I'm trying to make my boards last longer, but I still do some freestyle.

I've been good, skating is better than ever. I'm learning tre flips and hopefully ollie impossibles. I've been picking up my guitar more lately, and I've been doing well. How goes the parkour?
