well cuddy you should hook me up with that old one haha i'm stuck with a trv-280 which is an over-simplified worse version of what the baker filmer uses. my friend has a panasonic dvx with a death lens haha, but i'd like to have my own camera ya know
on the camera of course, you can't controll exposure in editing (brightness and darkness you can, but kind of different). so on the camera just look in the menu thing and turn auto exposure off, and/or make it to where you controll the exposure, like you customize it on diffrent days. i think since you have a vx and its a sony camera, it may have a little dial and a little meter for exposure, you should be able to see that and move the amount of exposure up and down. the bad part about autoexposure is that when there is alot of light behind what your filming (a skater), your camera takes in all the light behind him and his body just kind of turns into a black figure. it also just looks better when the lighting in a shot is constantly the same. like i think somewhere in your promo (which was great by the way), someone did some trick on like a little street quarter pipe, like a lip trick, and you can really tell the exposure change due to the automatic settings. i mean its not a huge deal just something that may make it look a little better. what editing software do you use, adobe ae?
