I used to be a professional dancer/choreographer, then I realized a was freakin starving and looking more like a 12 year old boy than the juicy woman I wanted to be, so I retired. I cashed in on some minority status loopholes and finished college to begin a career as a paralegal. But I quickly grew tired of playing with lawyers since most of them are obnoxious, egotistical, lazy jerks who pawn things off on their paralegals at the last minute, and I'm easily bored by assholes, so I moved on to something a little more exciting. Which is to say...I am JOYFULLY unemployed by standard definitions.
Spend most of my time promoting/organizing/assisting my boyfriend, Julian, so he can spend his time skating. When he's skating, he's happy. When he's happy, I'm happy. Actually, even when he's not happy, I'm usually happy. Except when I am not happy, then I just suck as a person, so I hibernate *hiccup*!
I'm learning to adjust to the idea that I am somehow proud of the fact that both of my sons would rather be skating than in school. I should be horrified, but I feel a sense of accomplishment that my boys don't give a shit about "the game." In the end...what f-in difference will it make? Exactly. So they won't solve the world's problems...cool. Really, I'm cool with that. Not surprisingly, they both skate. And since I am where Ju is and they are where I am, they have had the pleasure of meeting some really awesome skaters! Which, in my book, is worth at least an "A" in Geometry.
Oh, and I never run out of things to say/write. And sometimes, that sucks...unless you're bored and somehow find this interesting. Right on, then! You kick ass!
And then there's yoga. The only time when I am silent.
