actually it was converse chuck taylors that were the skate shoe of choice...A few people skated in jordans, but nike never supported us even when we needed it the most. Fuck them.
Actually Nike kills local shops that sell them by having very high requirements for their prebooking, and the shops have to cancel orders from real skate companies in order to keep their Nike account...But according to you supporting a local shop ...
Yeah all the Nike hype, is just that, they spend more opn advertising then any other company, and they have stopped advertising in sports illistrated, because they want to steal the skate shoe business because it is the biggest fad or whatever...T...
