whats more annoying then someone who wears skater cloths, says they can skate, and then when you actually see them skate they can only do a kickflip after 30 tries i mean im not one to judge on skill considering that my best tricks is a sketchy bigspin and a nollie heel but why do all of these people have to act like skaters when they just skate to look "cool"

I believe that if you wear the shirt, know what the meaning of the shirt your wearing is. Don't wear a RVCA shirt, if you have no idea what the hell it means, because what is the point in that? if you like the design on it then cool, but know what you're wearing. Or go find out what that meaning is, and hopefully that will feed on to wanting to know more and maybe learn to love skateboarding from the things you have learned. I think that the skateboarders who know what these shirts mean, are the ones who are going to buy them, and there are how many skateboarders in the world? the companies are doin jusf fine with OUR money. Maybe I judge to harshly, but you dont see me goin to buy a, I dont know, a hustler shirt or so-cal shirt, or any other brands i dont know much about.

i think anyone who tries isn't a poser. There are a lot of kids that go and hang out at the parks that don't skate(these are usually the kids that ruin the parks and have them shut down for doing and acting they way they think real skaters act)these are the kids who wear element tee shirts and DC's but have never touched a board in thier life. these are the real posers. the guys who have not and have no intention of owning(let alone riding and doing tricks) a skateboard. this is a double edged sword however, because these kids who don't skate are pumping money into the industry helping guys go on tour, teams turn riders pro, release new boards, film new videos and simply grow companies. so does it suck? ...yes...posers suck for sure..but knowing they are helping the careers of the skaters you like should give you a nice chuckle. so smile at the posers boys and girls.

clothes are just clothes, so who cares what somebody wears, and you can love skating without being good at it
