What made you decide to pick up a board and devote all your time to skateboarding? What was your inspiration? For me; I had aIways been into skateboarding ever since I was eleven years old and seein Michael j.Fox skate sparked my attention even more; I just wish I would have seen Gleamin the cube when I was younger, then It would have been all down hill from there!
But my brother had this old beat up, worn down board that I used to just roll around on cus I didnt know how to push yet. Also, I used to play this MTV skateboarding game, (which is a bit ironic considering how I think MTV is the reason kids decide to skate for the wrong reasons), however, I didnt fully dedicate myself to skateboarding til I was 16 when my friend took me to an Emerica demo, and I remember watching leo romero and bryan herman skate and saw how they did it with ease and so much concentration that it was inspiring to watch. And I observed how all the local skaters acted as a family, jus acted as one. And thats when I knew I wanted to do it for myself, so that very day, I grabbed the same old peice of crap board and learned how to push. And thats the day it all started. :) now lemme hear yours.

What made me decide to start skateboarding was watching paul rodriguez's fisrt hand on MTV for the first time. After I knew that he worked so hard for what he had and overcame every obsticle in his way, I decided to start skating because I felt like if i stayed long enought at it something good would happen for me.
Eventually something good did happen for me because I got sponsored and got the opportunity to ride for a shop.
This is just the begining though because I plan to do so much with skateboarding and as long as im alive im going to continue doing it.

Sick, you read his book? The Mutt. SO so good.

On the topic. I dont remember what got me in... I know I liked the art, and wanted to roll on a sweet board. My earliest memories of skating are plastic - flexi -boards with huge wheels/ Then I got a white board with a ninja or something - My friends all got executioners, then I got some fiberglass abomination....After that it was already a few years in... The I got serious and bought a Rob Roskopp with some help from my mom. Down hill from there NOW it's been like 23 years. Off and on, but yeah been in the game a while.
