people who dont skate crowding my park

wow it has been a while...ok this weeks topic is kids at the park that dont skate (aka Posers).this reporter has come to a few conclusions over the last few weeks of obsevation. I have noticed kids at the park who have boards but don't skate...first and foremost how could have a board and not skate? wow that really gets me. So these kids have boards but cant do a single trick. no offense to the kiddies just getting into skateboarding who can't do any tricks(you guys and girls are trying)yet.I'm talking about the kids who sit on the ramps and benches ALL DAY. the same kids you have to tell to move everytime you want to skate an obsticle. these kids get boards from (very cool) parents for birthdays easter and other various holidays but really don't have the desire to skate. they are there taking up space basically. they sit and drink red bull and smoke ciggarettes and get in my way. Does this happen at other skate parks? I started letting my board hit them insted of telling them to move. You know kick out my board at them ,run into them on purpose, and just basiclly make them feel unwanted. It's a little harsh i know but they are breathing my fellow skaters air. they look like poster boys for CCS. Don't get me wrong CCS is good for the kids who don't have a skate shop in their town. But if you do you should be getting your stuff there or sooner or later the shop will close and the next time you need a bearing it wont be there you will be waitin 6 weeks for those black panthers.Does this bother anyone else?? does this happen at your skate park? suggestions on what to do? let me know peace and ROLL forever(not sit on your board forever)

word son. you got to own that shit. the park is is ours...the skaters. Aint nothing wrong with a little ciggy, drank, and dank, but like you said, that shit doesn't have to run your life. It can compliment it. if the kids don't know you have to tell them. scream on those kids. You also need to use some tact though, these kids want to learn and are so stoked to try that same trick they haven't landed plus getting in your way. So let them know to wait their turn....then if they don't.... hey you tried...then you can shoot boards and scream on them and they will deserve it!

I hate it when parents show up with little children, I think that if your child needs to be watched, then he is too young to be there. I hate having to watch what I do/say
I came up with the one rule I always see people breaking and it really makes me want to punch them, I don't see it much from skateboarders though, No gum at the park. I don't think I have to explain why.

yes! thanks for addressing this. if you chew gum at my park and i see you....broken jaw.period
i've had to replace shoes,wheels, griptape & bearings because of this problem.
