people who dont skate crowding my park

wow it has been a while...ok this weeks topic is kids at the park that dont skate (aka Posers).this reporter has come to a few conclusions over the last few weeks of obsevation. I have noticed kids at the park who have boards but don't skate...first and foremost how could have a board and not skate? wow that really gets me. So these kids have boards but cant do a single trick. no offense to the kiddies just getting into skateboarding who can't do any tricks(you guys and girls are trying)yet.I'm talking about the kids who sit on the ramps and benches ALL DAY. the same kids you have to tell to move everytime you want to skate an obsticle. these kids get boards from (very cool) parents for birthdays easter and other various holidays but really don't have the desire to skate. they are there taking up space basically. they sit and drink red bull and smoke ciggarettes and get in my way. Does this happen at other skate parks? I started letting my board hit them insted of telling them to move. You know kick out my board at them ,run into them on purpose, and just basiclly make them feel unwanted. It's a little harsh i know but they are breathing my fellow skaters air. they look like poster boys for CCS. Don't get me wrong CCS is good for the kids who don't have a skate shop in their town. But if you do you should be getting your stuff there or sooner or later the shop will close and the next time you need a bearing it wont be there you will be waitin 6 weeks for those black panthers.Does this bother anyone else?? does this happen at your skate park? suggestions on what to do? let me know peace and ROLL forever(not sit on your board forever)

when we had a skatepark it happened quite alot actually
gang members would come down there to chill on the pyramid and smoke weed
when there was no one skating there, though, the ramps all mysteriously got fucked up
I just started calling the cops on them lol
when the cops roll through the parking lot every half hour or so, they lose their urge to bother us and fuck shit up

so they closed your skate park because of this....wow sorry homie. that blows. its a classic case of a few bad eggs messing up the dozen. oh well there are street spots to be found and destroyed ( sorry about the park, but try to stay positive) thanks for the reply homie Amen roll forever...peace

i agree with you 100%. were i live, the skatepark is like a box, there's hardly any room to begin with, and all a sudden here come the so called "posers" just ride on the flatland for 30 seconds. and for some reason they think that they killed it, they just did the best demo ever and they feel tired so they sit on the hubba for the rest of the day smoking and shit. that jus pisses me off!!!! if your not here to skate you shouldn't have gone in the first place. I would never wish this on a fellow skateboarder but on a poser i jus wish that some crazy person would just focus their board and jus walk away. and i hope as that random dude is walking away i hope the poser thinks or that as a sign and says to himself "maybe if im not going to do anything what so ever on a skateboard maybe i shouldn't skateboard at all, or at least actually make an effort to skate" if you want to look cool put go to a party and put a beer bottle in your hand instead of wasting money on a perfect skateboard that will never be used.

Tell them to fuck off. Simple. My park has a problem with annoying young chicks who harass guys at the park. I just want to skate. Not everything in my life can be centered about getting some.

similar to my park. but there are also kids who just sit there and hang around and do nothing. they dont even have a board

yeah. i see the kids who come to the skate park that don't have boards. I have found they are usually someones ride or friend who has nothing better to do.....you are at the skate park..thats something better to do than nothing. right? get a board , some trucks , hardware, bearings, and wheels and roll that shit. I know when i firdt started skateboarding i was very poor and my parents didn't have the loot. most REAL skate boarders will hook you up (especially if they are you homies) because its one more soldier for the army...feel me. thanks for the reply homie peace and roll forever.

I've been to a few parks where the local shops riders would go to a park just to chill and smoke weed. I don't think I have seen a skateboarder or poser who would seriously sit on ramps at a park when there are other people there.

one time when i went to my skatepark, there were 20 some kids there and I was the only one skatin. the were just sittin on the ledge talkin about things that have nothing to do with skateboarding. One lady even wrote a letter sayin to close the skatepark because some kids were cussing, and those kids were probably the cause of it all. To all the posers on here: THANKS! u guys almost took away my skatepark!
