LOOKING FOR SPONSORSHIP?
hi there,
here's what it takes to get sponsored:
1. time: to have the ability needed to be a sponsored skateboarder, you should have already been skating 5-10 years.
2. a good video: i need to see you can skate hard, and you travel and skate new and unique spots. a video of you in your driveway or basement isn't gonna cut it.
3. the ability to get people in your area to try our boards: as a growing company it's up to riders to promote business through our website, and get your local skateshops to carry our products. if you can do this i will send you free product for yourself.
too many people think that being sponsored means getting free stuff because you're good at skateboarding.
but it's much more than that.
it's not about what a skateboard company can do for you, it's what YOU can do for a skateboard company.
we want riders who are as involved and devoted to this company as we are.
not someone who leeches free merchandise while never contributing anything in return.
if you are consistently sending footage and pictures, and i can see web orders coming from your area, i can consistently send you free product because you earned it.
if you think you meet these qualifications, or you will in the future, i will be happy to check out your video whenever you are able to send one.

Im in disagreement with the above. People in my mind get sponsored for a higher level of love for the sport.

u bought wax for 7.95. GOD DAMN,thats crack prices!!! you would have been better of with a candle u got at your crib if u have one. personally i thing that candle wax works better than skateboarding wax, and it make your trucks smell good (no homo)!

of course you have to love it, i guess that should have been number 4 but i thought it was implied.
BUT YOU SHOULD BE HAVING FUN AND LOVING SKATEBOARDING FOR NO REASON,
NOT AS A REQUIREMENT TO GET SPONSORED.
trust me if you're trying to get sponsored and you don't have fun or love the sport it's very obvious and you aren't getting sponsored.
i didn't think i'd have to actually say that but nowadays everyone's so picky and critical.
